A charitable tax receipt will be issued for the security’s full selling price on its trading day. For further information, please contact Bonnie Gailfus, OCLF Treasurer, at 403-263-9600 or email: bgailfus@firstexec.ca - Bequests are gratefully received and should be arranged through your lawyer. OCLF’s registered number is 889904264RR0001.
- Books are no longer accepted as shipping and clearing costs are too high. OCLF does its best to purchase books from local sources whenever possible and ideally those reflecting African themes.
Donations to honour a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, or In Memoriam, etc.) are acknowledged with a card to mark the occasion.
Library-in-a-Bag: Purchase a bag to support deserving library members in Ghana.
These colourful bags are made in Ghana and contain eight Ghanaian storybooks, an embroidered towel with “READ”, and a bar of soap. This provides another way to celebrate a special occasion.
The cost of one bag is $50.00 and is tax deductible. A tax receipt will be sent to the donor together with an acknowledgement card. In the case of an In Memoriam designation, we will send the acknowledgment card to the family, if desired. For more details contact kknowles@mts.net
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide official tax receipts for donors outside of Canada.
